Advocates In YOUR Corner
Whether a solo practitioner, member of a group practice or employed by a health care system, the Michigan Thoracic Society advocates for pulmonologists and critical care physicians across the state. From legislative and regulatory issues, to payor relations and public health concerns, external forces are continuously impacting your practice and your patients.
MTS offers numerous opportunities for our members to share resources, discuss ideas and network with some of the most active and respected physicians in the state. We collaborate with MSMS, other specialty medical societies and the AMA to address pressing advocacy, regulatory and practice management issues. We also take part in coalitions established to tackle issues such as reforming prior authorization.
